Our Story

We started CLT 1768 with a simple goal: to celebrate the roots of the city we call home. The name goes back to 1768, the year everything became official as "Charlotte Town," and that history is at the heart of everything we make. We've always been drawn to the stories around the crossroads of Trade and Tryon, so we wanted to create things that feel like a real piece of that story. From our t-shirts to our coffee mugs, we keep the designs clean and focused on the heritage. CLT 1768 isn't about being flashy—it's just about wearing a bit of the history that started it all.
